Business Education Department

At Mulberry all the courses taught in the Business Education Department are vocational courses.  This means that as well as learning the theories for the subject, learners will also have to apply these theories to real business situations in a practical way.

Whichever course learners are taking, coursework accounts for at least 66% of the marks.  Businesses which are used for coursework include Turning Point (a Social Care organisation with a local Head Office), Cadbury, Sainsbury and Tesco.

In addition to learning in lessons, learners will have opportunities to:

·        make presentations and develop your presentation skills

·        improve your report writing skills

·        work as part of a team

·        use ICT to research topics and to present the results of your research

·        visit businesses either locally or further away

Welcome to the Business Education pages.
