MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD
Vanessa Ogden

Mulberry School for Girls is a community school with a role of over 1,420 students aged between 11-19. Our further education centre also offers places to mature women returning to study.

The school is close to Whitechapel and Shadwell. It is in the heart of Tower Hamlets' multicultural community but also on the edge of the City of London with whom we have established firm business links.

Over the past decade, Mulberry has gained a reputation for academic excellence of which we are justly proud. Girls are encouraged to give of their best and reach their full potential in an environment that is both challenging but supportive.

A private finance initiative, has recently transformed the physical fabric of the school, providing state of the art facilities for all subject areas including sport, music, languages, art, drama and dance. Fully equipped technology rooms specialise in food, textiles, graphics, electronics and ICT.

A purpose-built sixth form centre has also been constructed to replace our existing further education facility in Shadwell. We actively encourage girls to pursue their studies post-16 and many Mulberry girls go on to higher education and successful careers.

Parents and potential students are always welcome to visit the school. If you would like to do so, we would be happy to make an appointment for you.
