Admissions Policy
Mulberry School admits 210 pupils in Year 7. All admissions are handled by the Borough and we adhere strictly to its admissions policy as follows:
First Priority is given to pupils with a statement of special educational needs which names the school.
Second Priority is given to pupils who have a strong medical or social reason to attend the school. Parents must complete the relevant section on the application form and attach medical and/or social reports from a suitable professional (e.g. a doctor or social worker).
Third Priority is for the eldest daughter of families living nearest the school. This category makes up 25% of our intake.
Fourth Priority goes to girls who have a sister currently at the school.
Fifth Priority is for pupils who live nearest the school by the shortest walking route.
