Homework

Homework plays an important part in improving your daughter's chances of academic success. We expect each girl at Mulberry to do homework daily and to hand it in on time.

Every class has a set homework timetable. This is carefully worked out so that no girl has too much or too little on any one day. The exact nature of homework will vary greatly.

Each pupil is given a Student Planner containing a homework timetable. Your daughter should write her homework in this planner, and we ask you, as parents or guardians, to check and sign it at the end of each school week. This document is an important link between teachers, pupils and parents. Your daughter's tutor will check her planner and maintain an overview of the homework set by every subject teacher.

Homework is carefully marked by subject teachers who keep records to ensure that pupils make progress and their efforts are rewarded.
